Estimados, del miércoles 26 al sábado 29 de abril tendrá lugar la Competencia Oficial de Cortometrajes del Montevideo Fantástico 13 (2022), junto a la Muestra Informativa de Cortometrajes. Los materiales seleccionados se darán a conocer días antes en nuestra web y redes sociales. Durante la pandemia nos llegaron numerosos cortos que hubo que procesar y recién ahora pudimos encaminar todo. Dado que esta edición se ha hecho con dinero de nuestros propios bolsillos, en ocasiones hemos tenido que dedicar tiempo a otras tareas para poder subsistir. De ahí que recién ahora podamos ponernos a tiro con la 13a. edición. A partir de la 14a. (agosto-setiembre, 2023) ya no sucederá más esto, salvo que venga una invasión extraterrestre. Muchas gracias a todos los realizadores por su paciencia y comprensión.
The Official Short Films Competition of the XIII Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival (2022) will take place, together with the Informative Session of Short Films, from Wednesday, April 26th to Saturday, April 29th. The selected films will be announced on our website and social networks days before. During the pandemic we received numerous short films that had to be processed and we have just now been able to get everything on track. Since this edition has been made with money from our own pockets, sometimes we had to dedicate time to other tasks in order to survive. Therefore, we are only able to get on track with the 13th edition these days. From the 14th one (August-September, 2023) this won’t happen anymore, unless an extraterrestrial invasion comes.
