The festival’s quintessential bizarre offering, arriving from Argentina. The famous monster throws the entire province of Santa Fe into panic. There is much ingenuity in this work, where anything can happen in the least expected ways. It is filmmaking made from whatever’s at hand, where casual social commentary and deliriously absurd situations coexist from the first to the last frame — and beyond, after the end credits. “My intention as a filmmaker is to create something new and different from everything that has been done before, always valuing creativity, humour and an original style,” said young director Alexander Duré (here in his debut), who is also a graphic designer, illustrator and comics artist.
