Another anarchic comedy from Enrique Martínez (Bosque demente), made on next to nothing and delivered in his characteristically carefree style — a new story told by any means necessary, parading a succession of eccentric characters and genuinely funny situations. The film barrels forward like a runaway truck that doesn’t care about polished editing, shot-reverse-shot, accidental camera glances, bad acting, or a cameraman reflected in a mirror. It is all intentional — part of a filmmaking experience that would make the rules of the famous Dogme movement look timid by comparison. The film also features actors and actresses with extensive theatre careers.
