The second science fiction work by Austrian director Daniel Limmer, whose striking debut feature Enter Mycel was screened by the festival in the previous edition. Here, the visual dimension no longer dominates as much as the narrative itself, when it comes to tracing different worlds or, more precisely, states of consciousness through dreams. The psychological and emotional dimensions gradually take over the story, also thanks to very strong lead performances. The search for logic and meaning, far from spectacle and pictorial excess, opens curious perspectives through experimentation, recalling Douglas Trumbull's Brainstorm and also, to some extent, Tarkovsky's Solaris. Another interesting incursion and exploration of the genre by Limmer.
